Ty joined Swart, Lalande & Associates, P.C. (SLA) in 1995 following his college graduation. In his current role as senior manager, he oversees the day-to-day operations of and services provided by the firm’s Diversified Services Group. Ty has particular expertise providing expert tax services to individuals and small businesses. He also provides reliable consulting services to those clients.
Ty was inspired to pursue an accounting career by his family, which has a history in the industry. As a professional, he attributes his success to the time he dedicates to get to know his clients and build long-lasting relationships with them. Ty also credits his continual effort to provide value-added service to his clients, helping them not only meet their short-term needs but achieve their long-term goals.
Born and raised in the Fairfax area, Ty currently resides in South Riding, Virginia. He and his wife, Krista, have two children. Outside the office, Ty enjoys playing golf and softball and working out.
